The Great Guide Walkabout was held from 17 to 23 January 1992 at Britannia Park. It was an all Australian event for guides with international participation also. The camp was divided into four sub camps and each sub camp have eight unit camps. The camps were named after Australians who achieved or excelled in a field related to the sub camp name. The four sub camps were called Wings, Walkers, Water and Wheels with colours yellow, pink, green and orange respectively. All activities centred around various forms of travel, transport and movement.
